This is a general-purpose template covering the data Campuso collects to operate the platform. It isn't a substitute for legal advice - please have it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with applicable data protection law (such as India's DPDP Act) before relying on it as your binding policy.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Profile info you choose to add: bio, avatar, college, and year.
• Verification documents: your CET allotment letter, used only to confirm your college placement.
• Content you post: community posts, comments, and messages to other students.
• Support requests: the email address and message you submit through our Support form.
• Basic usage data needed to keep the platform secure and working (session tokens, timestamps).

How we use it

We use your data to run your account, verify your college placement, connect you with your community, send login/signup verification codes and support replies, and keep the platform safe from abuse. We don't sell your personal data to advertisers.

Third parties we use

• Cloud storage for uploaded documents and images.
• An email delivery service for OTP codes and support replies.
• A database host to store your account and content.

Your choices

You can edit or remove most profile info at any time from your account settings. To request deletion of your account and data, contact us through the support page.
